Oh, i forgot to add one thing..

The other thing I wanted to do with this blog was to use it to put up some of my comic strips.  I did a few library related strips called The Madcap Adventures of Pharnabus Filch..or some such nonsense*.  Anyway, I thought doing this might encourage me to do more.  Because working two jobs and studying and doing a blog everyday sometimes just isnt enough.

Anyway on with the strip.  You know how you get all sorts of stuff in returned books? Tissues, bills, x-rays, breakfast? This was inspired by that.  Heres a preview – CLICK on it for the full strip.

Oh – if you want to read some inane ramblings you can check out some suggestions on what to read for the upcoming X-men movie.  Every fortnight I write some blatherings highlighting a few interesting comics that we have at the ol’ library.

Oh 2 – You can see pictures of me doing the national simultaneous storytime at Success Library if you’re also so inclined. Some of them are a bit blurry but unfortunately you can still see me clearly which is a shame.

Thanks to all who read the first post – I need to get caught up on my reading and do some comments.  I appreciate it – as a fledgling (student) librarian I really hope to make a connection with the local librarian community with this blog! Fingers crossed!

* I got the name for a recent web 2.0 course that our library particpated in. I called my blog that name for some reason and then thought that seemed like a good name for a comic strip.
